Black Chalcedony and Pearl Pendant & Brooch
This brooch features an exquisite sculpture, carved by lapidary artist Steve Walters. As with all his carvings, this black chalcedony is elegance personified. The stone folds and undulates beautifully, and is finished in a texture that is reminiscent of leather.
An understated 18kt hand fabricated mounting serves to present the chalcedony sculpture; a field of granulation, a single diamond, and a natural color lavender-pink pearl all serve to accent the artwork.
This piece of jewelry is designed as a brooch, and it easily accommodates a chain from the pin hardware (so it can be worn as a pendant).
- Black Chalcedony (natural, carved by Steve Walters)
- Freshwater Pearl (natural color)
- 0.08ct Diamond
- 18kt Gold and Platinum
- approximately 43mm x 23mm (1.69" x 0.91")
- wearable as either a brooch or a necklace pendant
- made in the USA by Dalan Hargrave for ART Guyon
ABOUT THE GEMSTONE
