Chrysoprase Pendant & Brooch
Luscious and gemmy chrysoprase carved into a fluid and elegant shape makes for a astonishing piece of jewelry.
The focal point of this 18kt gold masterpiece is gem carver extraordinaire Steve Walters’s elegant Australian chrysoprase carving. It tapers to a flame shaped baroque pearl, and is accented perfectly with a single, platinum-set diamond.
The hand-fabricated mounting allows this piece to be worn as a brooch, or hung from a wide variety of necklaces (including pearls). My favorite Italian chain is included, but this piece would be equally at home on an ultramodern collar or wire.
- Chrysoprase (Australia, carved by Steve Walters)
- 0.08ct Diamond
- 18kt Gold and Platinum
- approximately 53mm x 12mm (2.09" x 0.47")
- wearable as either a brooch or a necklace enhancer/pendant
- made in the USA by Dalan Hargrave for ART Guyon
ABOUT THE GEMSTONE
Chrysoprase is among my favorite gemstones. It is essentially the green variety of chalcedony, and gem quality material is quite rare. CLICK HERE for more information on chrysoprase.
