Chalcedony & Opal Wearable Sculpture

This elegant wearable sculpture features a remarkable carving in natural black chalcedony by renowned American lapidary artist Steve Walters. Sculptural waves move fluidly through the stone, incorporating a natural field of drusy crystals that adds texture and quiet sparkle to the matte black surface.

The composition is beautifully balanced by a large marquise-shaped Australian crystal opal, whose luminous play of color provides a vivid counterpoint to the depth of the chalcedony. A single platinum-set diamond further refines the design, introducing a subtle point of brilliance.

The hand-fabricated mounting in 18k gold and platinum allows the piece to be worn as a brooch or suspended as a pendant from a wide variety of necklaces, including pearls.
