Chalcedony and Pearl Wearable Sculpture

This elegant wearable sculpture features languid, flowing undulations carved in natural black chalcedony by renowned American lapidary Steve Walters. The surface of the gemstone is finished with a subtle texture reminiscent of leather, giving the sculptural form both visual depth and tactile character.

An exquisitely executed hand-fabricated mounting in 18k gold and platinum presents the chalcedony carving with refined restraint. A field of delicate granulation, a single diamond, and a natural lavender-pink freshwater pearl provide luminous accents that complement the sculptural gemstone.

Designed as a brooch, the piece easily accommodates a chain through the pin hardware, allowing it to be worn as a pendant as well.
