Chalcedony and Pearl Wearable Sculpture

This striking wearable sculpture features a luminous carving in natural blue chalcedony by renowned American lapidary artist Steve Walters. The graceful sweep of the carving and the impressive scale of the chalcedony create a powerful sense of movement, resulting in a jewel of remarkable presence.

The gemstone displays an intense natural blue color with beautiful translucency. A brilliant diamond, set in platinum, is perfectly nestled within the carving, while a removable French Polynesian gray pearl introduces elegant movement and contrast.

The hand-fabricated mounting in 18k gold and platinum allows the piece to be worn as a brooch or suspended as a pendant from a wide variety of necklaces, including pearls.
