This luminous chrysoprase carving was created by renowned American lapidary artist Steve Walters. The sculpture’s fluid, tapering form leads gracefully to a flame-shaped baroque pearl, while a single diamond adds a point of brilliance that beautifully complements the vivid green gemstone.
The hand-fabricated 18k gold and platinum mounting allows the piece to be worn as a brooch or suspended as a pendant from a wide variety of necklaces, including pearls.

ABOUT CHRYSOPRASE
Chrysoprase is the rarest and most prized green variety of chalcedony. Its distinctive apple-green color is created by traces of nickel within the stone.
The gem has been admired since antiquity and was particularly favored in European royal jewelry during the eighteenth century. Fine chrysoprase remains sought after for its vivid color and softly luminous translucence.
